They live and go to school in one of the most economically depressed parts of Austin. Here there are broken homes, drugs, prostitution, vandalism, and the lowest per household income of the city. Against all odds, these faithful kids worked to raised over $300,00 for their trip. Some had never stepped foot on a plane. But they ventured across the world to meet their counterparts. The leader of this group, Nijalon or Ni-D, met an orphan named Daniel. The two connected in ways most unexpected. Both live without parents, and both love music. They understood each other`s stories. They wrote this song together and with God`s provision performed and recorded it in Swahili and English. This video is the result of God loving two orphans – one in Austin and the other in Kibera. Unexpectedly, a bond was created between these two strangers through life and music.
